Martha Stewart's Show Renewed

The company that syndicates "Martha Stewart Living" says it will go forward with an 11th season of the show.

And yes, that's a good thing for the lifestyle guru, who's been in legal trouble for much of the past year over allegations of insider stock trading.

King World Productions, a division media conglomerate Viacom, has agreements to air the daily home and lifestyle series with the station group of its corporate sibling CBS and several others, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Whether "Living" will keep its time-slot home on the CBS stations is another matter.

There has been some speculation that Stewart's show might be replaced in some markets by a new King World series, "Living It Up! With Ali & Jack." The "Regis and Kelly" -style talk show is hosted by actress Ali Wentworth ("Felicity," "In Living Color") and former "Good Morning America" and "Today" weekend anchor Jack Ford.

A King World spokesman declined comment on the matter, saying only that "it's up to the stations to make their programming decisions."

Stewart has been under investigation for several months after dumping shares in biotechnology firm ImClone a day before its proposed anti-cancer drug was rejected by the Food and Drug Administration. She says she had a standing order with her broker to sell the stock if it dropped below a certain price.
